About Us

Aljac Pugs is a small private home kennel located in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Al and Jacqueline Hofer have been breeding pugs for 35 years and have been showing for over 20 years. They breed for temperament and health.

Aljac Pugs win championships year after year and continue to show their dogs. They are proud to show off the quality of pugs they own and breed.

Al and Jacqueline have been married forever and have three wonderful sons, four granddaughters and one great grandson. Although Al now has Parkinson's plus other issues, he still enjoys the pugs (he always has one on his lap) and enjoys going to the dog shows.

Al and Jaqueline are members of the Pug Dog Club of America and the New Brunswick Kennel Club. Jacqueline is on the Board of the Trenton Kennel Club and they're both members. Jacqueline is also Cooresponding Secretary of and a member of the Pug Dog Club of Greater New York and the Delaware Valley Pug Club.
